Pastor Myrick was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Myrick, Sr. and the grandson of Mrs. Mabel Riddick.
His partner in ministry is his lovely and anointed wife, Elayne Myrick. They are the proud parents of one beautiful daughter Candace Elayne, a 2010 honor graduate from Norfolk State University.
Pastor Myrick is a 1975 graduate of Suffolk High School located in Suffolk Virginia. He attended Paul D. Camp Community College located in Franklin Virginia, from 1975 to 1977 majoring in Business Administration. He accepted his call to preach in 1984, after which he returned to Paul D. Camp to complete courses in Religious Studies. He also completed religious courses at Franklinton Center located in Enfield, North Carolina.
In November, 1992, he received his license and ordination, and began serving as Assistant Pastor at the Bethlehem Christian Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Elmer Lee Wood.
In January, 1995, he was called to lead Bethlehem as Pastor, and was installed in February of that same year.
Pastor Myrick is also President of The Westside Civic League, a non-profit organization inspired by the residents of the Boston and Williamstown Communities. It is a Neighborhood concerned citizen's group.
Pastor Myrick is passionate about our youth. He teaches and challenges them to be all that God has called them to be. He is a Born-Again child of God, whose focus is St. Luke 19:10 where Jesus declared, "For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost".
During Pastor Myrick's free time he enjoys watching and playing various sports.
